Travelling in my old Volvo to The Lofoten archipel makes me feel coming home. Driving along these silent roads of inspiration. It feeds and calms my mind. Staying for a month in a small cabine at the beach and feeling the landscape, the surrounding elements. I hear the movement of the day in winter. Each moment with changing light. Sitting on the veranda and breathing the time. It calms my mind, en after several days gives me loads of inspiration. The last decade I was able to do so a few times. I need this energy in order to create new artwork.
